A freelance guitarist and music technician based in North London, I perform regularly and provide creative and technical services for theatre and media composers: copying, reductions, arranging, programming, live sound, backing tracks and so on.

Alongside my creative and technical work I also work in higher education – as lecturer in Jazz, guitar and ensemble practice at University of Southampton.

Morricone In Love: in a fusion of live music and cinema, f’eatre explore the haunting wordless female vocal and the psychedelic lounge trip of Ennio Morricone’s cult Italian film scores of 1968-72.

F’eatre are the extraordinarily talented Fiona Staniland (chanteuse), Nick Ramm (arrangments and keyboards), Alex Keen (basses) Jon Scott (drums), Jon Gingell (guitars) and Gerry Hunt (clarinet, flute, sax, trumpet and more).

After the Spaghetti came the Desert! Expect a triptastic mix of hypnotic jazz rhythms, bossa beats, soaring soprano and avant garde expressionism – all to a stunning backdrop of original film visuals.

Dates: 8pm on 30th July and 6th August at Shortwave Cinema, 10 Bermondsey Square, London SE1 3UN Tel: 020 7357 6845 www.shortwavefilms.co.uk
